so a few days ago I flew out to Orlando for a week for DECA ICDC and competed with 18,000 international kids in a business competition. I was chilling in the lobby of my hotel one day and I met these two real cool kids from Chicago. We kicked it for a bit and they showed me their business and I showed them Ohkay and everything. They were like yo we for sure need a photographer some time and I was like word here's my card peep my website and stuff. So we chilled for a bit longer then I went to the pool and that was the last I saw of Liam.
So I was sitting in physics class on Thursday and Liam texted me and was like hey man and I was like yo dude how's it been. A few minutes later he asked if I was busy this weekend and I checked the sched. I told him I had SATs Saturday morning until around noon. Then Liam was like Hey dude want to come to Chicago after SATs?
so I was like of course I do.
So I was like I'll skip school Monday and just fly back then. So he bought me a direct flight to and from Chicago and I'm staying in the Sheridan Towers in the heart of Chicago tonight and tomorrow night and I'm catching a plane home monday mid day.
Im doing some product shots around the Chicago Bay Area and shooting a video tomorrow.
Of course im getting paid like any other trip but it's not about that, it's just the idea that meeting people is everything.
All it takes is some people skills and the ability to bring things to the table in a conversation. If you wow people, they'll wow you back.
so im sitting in the airport about to board my flight. Ive never been to Chicago. But all of this is about to be wild.
A year ago when I was shooting photos with my T3i I never in a million years would have imagined my life as inteiquite as it now. It's all about finding youself and the rest falls into place. Just start somewhere & never stop. Never sleep and never take no for an answer.
